Honed Investments commenced in July 2018 with the mission of creating an investment firm that provided a way to leverage property ownership, to meet the investment outcome expectations of people in a variety of differing situations.
Since then, our experienced and fully qualified investment experts have honed our skills still further, over challenging times, to provide an investment advisory service for those who wish to invest in residential property via new residential developments across the country. Today, we assist a growing number of investors throughout Sydney, New South Wales, and beyond.
Our team ensures that every client we work with understands the property purchase process from start to finish and feel comfortable and confident with the methodology. We work with you collaboratively to identify the specific goals you are seeking, and forming an action plan to get there.
We are hands-on, personalised, and professional in our approach and liaise with your broker, accountant, solicitor and/or financial planner to ensure continuity across every touch-point – from inception, analysis, and purchase, all the way through to handover of the property.
Importantly, with Honed Investments, there is no cost to you for our expertise and interactions. And we operate transparently and completely independently from the developers with whom we partner on investment projects.
Management Team
Darren Sculley – Director
Darren joined the business in 2018 as a consultant and is now a Director of the company. Prior to commencing with Honed, Darren held management level roles for large corporations within the finance and real estate industry. Darren has been honing his skills in Real Estate for over seven years and holds Real Estate Licences in New South Wales, Victoria, and Queensland. Prior to entering the Finance and Real Estate industry, Darren was a full-time member of the Australian Defence Force. In his down time Darren enjoys spending time with his fiancé, family, friends, and his Maroodle “Gnocchi”, as well as fishing, travel, and anything sports-related.
Matt Lee – Director
Matt was a Director of the company when it launched. Before the birth of Honed Investments, he held senior roles at a large financial services business (Head of Mortgage Distribution, Group General Manager, Director of Finance, and Manager – Premium Banking Services). Prior to that Matt was a Business Development Manager at Keep Your Customer, and a Relationship Manager and Broker at the Sydney Home Loan Centre where he started in 2008. He holds a Diploma of Finance and Mortgage Broking Management. After working hours, his interests include cricket, golf, renovating properties, travel and spending time with his wife Gemma and their two kids, Harriet and Elliot.
